Becoming a Christian is simple.  It doesn't matter where or when you make the decision, just that you make it.  It begins with acknowledging that you need God's help and accepting that Jesus paid the price for your sins by dying on the cross, then asking for His forgiveness. You can do this by praying (talking to Jesus) this prayer:

Jesus, I know that I have lived life my own way and sinned against you.  I want to ask for your forgiveness and receive the promise of eternal life.  Today I accept you as my Lord and Savious, in Jesus' name.  Amen.
